Mohit woke up in a cold sweat. His recurrent nightmare had returned. As it always did before any crucial day, to remind him of past failures. Today was one such day.
He looked outside. It was not yet dawn. He got up, shaved and had a shower. He then prayed fervently to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, to bless him today. Tika on his forehead, prayer on his tongue, he left home, before the crack of sunrise for his mission.
He had to scan a dozen ATMs, before he found one, an hour away from home, where he was just the 2nd in queue. Today, he would succeed!
