Silence screams 
With so much noise
I shut my ears
I close my eyes

A Dreadful Chill
Creeps up my limbs
Cages my soul
Its Grip, grave and grim

I try to escape
I try to fight
I try to sleep 
All day and night

I scream for help
I am on the edge
Ah! An escape! 
Off the ledge.
